Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She is a senior associate at the Hudson Institute. It is a think tank that is conservative.
Prior to her work at the Department of State, she was an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in the Trump administration from March to October 2018. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
